Lady's Sterling Silver Rings & Bands

These Sterling Silver Rings are made of solid cast sterling silver. Each Sterling Silver Ring is stamped .925 to denote the fact that it has the proper percentage of silver in the alloy. These Sterling Silver Rings Have A Semi Polished Finish

The Sterling Silver Rings featured on this page are polished to a semi shine finish. This level of shine is the more traditional finish. As the band is worn the shine will lose any mirror like appearance and transform to a duller metallic appearance. This aging process is normal and results in a durable stable finish. The sterling silver rings on this page are not plated, coated or treated for tarnish resistance. The bands will age to "natural" beauty.

Several of these rings have area's that are darkened. A chemical process is used to alter the metal. The darkened areas are not the result of the use of paint. They should remain dark for many years.

The first ring on this page has open spaces in the casting. Over time the inner faces of theses spaces will tarnish. That is perfectly normal and expected. As the open spaces darken the ring will develop an antique appearance over time. The exposed face is polished during normal wear. For example each time you wash your hands and use a towel to dry your hands the towel will clean and polish the ring. Inserting your hand into a glove also has a polishing action. Daily wear will help prevent a build up of tarnish. Of course this type of polishing action will not maintain a brilliant shine, but it will help keep the band attractive.
